Ever so slightly.... in Horse and Hound

This year has been one of the best and hardest years of my life so far, so many wonderful changes and a complete change in the way we live, day to day responsibilities and priorities. I started this year with huge plans for my art business and after moving in to our own equestrian property in March, life has been very different and those plans had to be put on hold.

I have spent most of this year juggling the new responsibilities of running a livery yard, whilst maintaining my consultancy business and unfortunately the time for painting has been limited. However that's not to say that there hasn't been work going on in the background.

A few weeks ago I took the leap (with a little help from the fabulous Rhea Freeman, if you don't know who she is, go check her out at www.rheafreemanpr.co.uk, the woman is a legend!) and wrote a press release and sent it out to a few editors, not really expecting any response. Low and behold I got a response from a couple, resulting in me being included in the Christmas Gift Guide in Horse and Hound last week! To say I was slightly excited about it would be an understatement, I have read H&H for years and years and to see myself in there, even in a small way was just incredible and something I am massively proud of. My art business still has a long way to go and I have some exciting things in the pipeline, which with a little planning over Christmas I will be shouting from the rooftops in the new year.

If you didn't get a chance to see the article, there were some fabulous products in there, some that I covet for myself and I may do a little gift guide of my own over the next couple of weeks.

I can now legitimately say 'as featured in Horse and Hound'......... so exciting!
