Commissions
Commissioning a painting requires a number of considerations.............

Commission work
Working in either pastels, oils or ink, you can commission a portrait of your beloved furry family member. This can be a single subject or more than one, a complete imagine or head shot, whatever you prefer. During the process, we will discuss what you are looking for from your painting, ideas will be discussed and shared before agreeing on a composition. At this point, price will then be determined, based on the composition, size, materials etc.
A 50% deposit will be taken to secure your commission, with timescales then agreed. If you have a particular date in mind, that you would like the commission completed by, please do let me know. However, please take into account the amount of time it can take, particularly for oil paintings, when thinking about booking.
It is really important to me that you are involved in the process and I will share the various stages with you (if relevant and /or if you even want to know) so we can discuss any potential changes or tweaks through the process. I do this to ensure you have visibility of the piece, as sometimes the idea you might have in your head, doesn't always match my interpretation, therefore I want to ensure you are happy with your piece in the early stages, to ensure changes can be made. Once the painting is complete, it can't be changed.
On completion of your commission, the full balance is required, before delivery. Delivery and shipping costs will be additional to the commission cost, as these can vary drastically depending on the piece and shipment type.

Supplying photos for Commssions
An important part of the process is ensuring that I have high resolution images to work from. I can only paint from what I can see, therefore it is essential that the images you provide are of high quality, and the pose in which you wish to see. I can sometimes adjust the images to help increase the details, however, I can't paint an accurate portrait of your loved one, without having a clear and detailed image to work from. The more detail in the image, the better the painting.
Please bear this in mind before requesting a commission. I am happy to help guide you through this process and will review all images during initial enquiries.
